Description

This innovative elastic is engineered with a fluorocarbon-free, Durable Water Resistant (DWR) finish that dramatically reduces water absorption, creating potential for enhanced performance and longevity. Textile Network, Inc. testing based on ISO 20158 standards confirms its superior efficiency—*elastic without the DWR coating (standard finish) absorbed 91% more water by weight compared to its DWR treated counterpart. The product tested and shown is based on MIL-W-5664 and was made with Nylon CORDURA® yarn, natural latex rubber and finished with a durable water resistant coating but can be seamlessly applied to many of the elastics offered by Textile Network, Inc.

The finish itself is a fluorine-free DWR and does not contain any Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAP), Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC), is formaldehyde free and does not contain chemicals subject to REACH restrictions defined in column 2 of Annex XVII of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006. This DWR finish does not contain any RoHS-listed substances, was not manufactured using any conflict minerals, and does not require a CA Prop 65 warning.
